    Enjoy An Evening with the Arts, featuring musician, author and WRAL-TV personality Bill Leslie, sponsored by Halifax County Arts Council and Friends of the Roanoke Rapids Public Library, along with displays by local visual artists and photographers, at Kirkwood Adams Community Center in Roanoke Rapids. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $10 in advance and may be purchased at the Roanoke Rapids Library, or $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event begins at 6:30 p.m.
